CHARITY RESPONSE TO REVIEW: Como Zoo and Conservatory is the number one family destination in the state of Minnesota because it is free, interactive, welcoming, accessible and for families. It is the only place in Minnesota where you can experience daily global adventures in the heart of the city. Since 2000, Como Friends has worked to invest private sector dollars in program expansions, building improvements, expanded gardens and improved animal habitats with over $18 million contributed to Como. Future initiatives will focus on a new polar bear habitat at Como Zoo and a new Japanese Pavilion and Gardens at the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory. All of these improvements are possible because of Minnesota families, businesses and foundations who invest in the future of Como. | | | |
